This episode will feature Sherrie Howard and Mark Kelso. Sherrie is a multi-talented international kirtan artist, 1000-hour certified Kripalu yoga teacher, nature guide, trained vocalist, and sound healer. Sherrie has toured as an international kirtan artist at large retreat centers (Kripalu, Omega, and Bodhi Tree), festivals, studios, and private homes and has toured with well-known chant artists, Girish and Johanna Beekman. She has assisted Deva Premal and Miten with their recent online programs. Sherrie’s first album, Sukha Hridaya, has been a best seller in the Kripalu shop. Since her first album, she has released two singles with Mark Kelso digitally, both original compositions of the Long Form Gayatri Mantra and Om Shrim Maha Lakshmiyei Namaha.

Mark has been practicing kirtan for over 45 years. His passion for this practice has been re-ignited by his collaboration with Sherrie Howard, with whom he now tours. As a producer/engineer he has worked closely with Benjy and Heather Wertheimer, John de Kadt, Steve Gorn, Carrie Grossman, Todd Norian, and recently, while “stuck” in Costa Rica, Deva Premal and Miten.
